Exercising as a Covid-19 Coping Strategy

I don’t know about you, but I experience stress as a feeling if fullness around my midsection. The research backs me up. According to the ADAA, Anxiety and Depression Association of America, excess cortisol, produced as a reaction to stress, causes weight gain, excess back fat and midsection thickening. Since the Covid-19 crisis broadsided us, an abundance of research articles has reinforced the fact that exercise improves our mental outook and makes us more resilient.

If you are on the fence about beginning an exercise program, jump over already! The only negative is the chance that you’ll become so obsessed with physical exertion that you’ll want to spend time with it every day.
